Join award-winning journalist, author, and writing mentor Rex Weiner for an intimate three-day workshop designed to help you transform real-life experiences, ideas, research, and memories into compelling non-fiction stories.

Hosted by Tecolote Bookstore and the Todos Santos Writers Workshop, and proudly sponsored by Todos Santos Insider, this small-group workshop will be held in the beautiful Tecolote Bookstore Garden in the heart of Todos Santos.

Over the course of three afternoons, participants will:

• Define the story they want to tell

• Learn practical story-structure techniques used by professional writers and journalists

• Discover how to shape facts into engaging narratives

• Receive constructive feedback and expert guidance

• Complete a polished 500-word first draft

Whether you're interested in memoir, travel writing, journalism, personal essays, local history, family stories, or simply want to strengthen your writing skills, this workshop welcomes writers of all experience levels.

With enrollment limited to just five participants, each writer will enjoy personalized attention, meaningful discussion, and a supportive creative environment.

Tuition

$1,700 MXN ($100 USD)

Workshop tuition includes admission to the full three-day course plus your choice of one non-fiction book from Tecolote Bookstore to inspire your writing journey.

About Rex Weiner

Rex Weiner is an author, prize-winning journalist, poet, screenwriter, and co-founder/co-director of the Todos Santos Writers Workshop, now entering its 14th year. His work has appeared in numerous national and international publications, and he has spent decades helping writers discover and develop their unique voices.
