In the mid-1970s, visionary filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky set out to create an adaptation of Frank Herbert's legendary novel Dune unlike anything the world had ever seen. His dream project would have starred Orson Welles, Mick Jagger, David Carradine, and Salvador Dalí, with music by Pink Floyd and artwork by Jean "Moebius" Giraud, H.R. Giger, and other groundbreaking artists.

Though the film was never completed, the astonishing creative journey behind it would go on to influence generations of filmmakers and shape the future of science fiction cinema. Jodorowsky's Dune is an inspiring, funny, and visually stunning documentary about imagination without limits, artistic ambition, and the power of pursuing an impossible dream.
