This five month series features Jenelle Aubade alongside an evolving lineup of guest musicians, poets, storytellers, and artists, making each Tecolote After Hours a one-of-a-kind experience. Jenelle has been writing songs and performing for audiences throughout her adult life. Born in California and now calling Baja California Sur home for more than twelve years, she has released multiple independent albums, written nearly one hundred original songs, and continues to perform throughout the region, including the annual Tropic of Cancer Music & Arts Festival. Her newest recordings, produced with acclaimed Mexican producer Alf Moctezuma, are now being released, beginning with the single Come Around. This concert brings together three beloved musicians whose paths have crossed throughout the years in Todos Santos, creating an evening filled with friendship, exceptional musicianship, and unforgettable collaborations.

We're excited to welcome Wendy Fitz & Steve Webber, whose warm blend of Americana, folk, jazz, and roots music has earned them devoted audiences on both sides of the border. Wendy is an award-winning singer-songwriter known for heartfelt performances, engaging storytelling, and memorable songs that celebrate connection, resilience, and joy. She and Steve's musical partnership is effortless and inviting, and many Baja music lovers also know Wendy through her California-based group, Todos Santos The Band, inspired by the community she has returned to for many years.

Opening the evening is Chris Paulson, a longtime Todos Santos resident whose soulful voice, expressive guitar work, and thoughtful originals have made him a favorite throughout Baja. A true wandering troubadour, Chris effortlessly weaves together original songs with timeless classics, creating performances that feel intimate, spontaneous, and deeply personal. Many visitors know him as the host of his popular rooftop concert series in the heart of Todos Santos, where he has introduced audiences to remarkable musicians from around the world.

As the evening unfolds, Chris joins Wendy and Steve on stage for a special three-piece finale—a collaboration you won't hear anywhere else and one of the highlights of this year's Tecolote Garden Concert Series.

Our featured guest chef for the evening is Sandra Tamales, serving her much-loved handmade tamales—a local favorite and the perfect accompaniment to a relaxed evening of music beneath the Baja stars.

Created by artist and Tecolote owner Jenelle Aubade, Tecolote After Hours is a monthly concert series celebrating original music and the creative spirit of Baja California Sur. Inspired by the listening-room tradition, these evenings are intentionally intimate, encouraging audiences to slow down, listen closely, and connect with the artists—and each other. No two nights are ever the same.
