Join us upstairs in the Book Nook for a private after-hours Listening Room evening. With only 20 seats, this is not a background-music night. The Listening Room is designed for close listening: a small audience gathered with the artists for original songs, poetry, stories and the spontaneous creative moments that can only happen in an intimate space.

Singer-songwriter and Tecolote owner Jenelle Aubade writes and performs original music and has released multiple independent albums and performed throughout Baja California Sur, including the annual Tropic of Cancer Music & Arts Festival. Explore her music and writing at jenelle.rocks.

Musician, Artist, and producer Mark Gabriel of Los Espinas brings dreamy lo-fi textures, indie influences and soulful songwriting to the Listening Room. His atmospheric sound and thoughtful approach to production add a contemporary, cinematic edge to the Todos Santos music scene.

The Tecolote Listening Room is a private, limited-seat event series created for audiences who want to experience original work up close.

With just 20 guests gathered inside the Book Nook, artists can share songs, poems and stories in the way they were meant to be heard—without distance, distraction or a noisy room between performer and audience.

Every Listening Room evening is different. Once the seats are gone, the room is full.
