Baja Moonlight Heirloom Necklace - Knotted Art Glass by Jenelle Aubade
TECOLOTE ART GLASS
Sea of Cortez Heirloom Necklace
One of a Kind • Handmade in Baja California Sur
Inspired by the soft colors of Baja sunsets and moonlit evenings by the sea, the Lavender Moonlight Heirloom Necklace is composed entirely of individually handcrafted lampwork glass beads created by artist and author Jenelle Aubade.
Dreamy shades of light violet, soft plum, and crystal clear glass create an elegant palette reminiscent of lavender skies, polished beach glass, and quiet coastal evenings. Each bead is formed in the flame using premium Italian glass, then carefully tumbled to a silky matte finish reminiscent of weathered sea glass collected along the shore.
At its center rests a stunning glossy focal bead featuring intricate layers of color and luminous fine .999 silver encased beneath the glass. The contrast between the soft matte strand and the shimmering focal creates a beautiful balance of organic simplicity and artisan luxury. No two beads are ever exactly alike, making each necklace a true one-of-a-kind work of wearable art.
Beyond its visual beauty, this necklace was designed to be handled and enjoyed. The smooth organic shapes and varied textures make it equally suited as a meditation, prayer, or worry necklace—something to wear, touch, and connect with throughout the day.
Wear it alone as a statement piece, layer it with other strands for an effortless bohemian look, wrap longer lengths as a bracelet, or even use it as an artistic hatband. Designed for everyday wear yet elegant enough for special occasions, it transitions beautifully from beachside afternoons to evening gatherings under the Baja stars.
A favorite choice for destination weddings, anniversaries, and meaningful life celebrations, each necklace becomes a personal keepsake carrying memories of Baja California Sur long after the journey home.

Care
Like fine pearls, hand-knotted necklaces should be stored flat in a jewelry box, pouch, or drawer when not in use. The natural hemp cord is exceptionally strong but may gradually stretch with years of regular wear.
A professional re-knotting service is available for $50 USD and is typically only needed every 3–5 years for frequently worn pieces.
