TECOLOTE ART GLASS

Coastal Nomad Heirloom Necklace

One of a Kind • Handmade in Baja California Sur

Inspired by driftwood shores, weathered shells, sea-worn glass, and the relaxed elegance of Baja California Sur, the Coastal Nomad Heirloom Necklace is composed entirely of individually handcrafted lampwork glass beads created by artist and author Jenelle Aubade.

Soft shades of ivory, pearl white, sand, and crystal clear glass create a calming neutral palette that pairs beautifully with linen, cotton, silk, and natural fibers. The organic colors and textures evoke long walks on quiet beaches, sun-bleached driftwood, and treasured objects gathered along the shore.

Each bead is individually formed in the flame using premium Italian glass and carefully finished to a silky matte texture reminiscent of weathered sea glass polished by years of waves and salt air. No two beads are ever exactly alike, making each necklace a true one-of-a-kind work of wearable art.

At the center rests an elegant 12mm organic focal bead, while two handcrafted bellflower disk beads at the closure create a secondary focal point. This thoughtful design allows the necklace to be worn in multiple ways, making it both versatile and distinctive. Whether the focal is worn front and center or the bellflower closure is allowed to become part of the design, the necklace offers a fresh look from every angle.

Beyond its visual beauty, the smooth organic beads invite touch and interaction, making the necklace equally suited as a meditation, prayer, or worry necklace—something to wear, hold, and enjoy throughout the day.

Wear it alone as a statement piece, layer it with other strands for an effortless bohemian look, wrap longer lengths as a bracelet, or even use it as an artistic hatband. Designed for everyday wear yet elegant enough for special occasions, it transitions beautifully from beachside afternoons to evening gatherings under the Baja stars.

A favorite choice for destination weddings, anniversaries, and meaningful life celebrations, each necklace becomes a personal keepsake carrying memories of Baja California Sur long after the journey home.

Care

Like fine pearls, hand-knotted necklaces should be stored flat in a jewelry box, pouch, or drawer when not in use. The natural hemp cord is exceptionally strong but may gradually stretch with years of regular wear.

A professional re-knotting service is available for $50 USD and is typically only needed every 3–5 years for frequently worn pieces.
