Fire of Love tells the extraordinary true story of French volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft, a couple united by two consuming passions: each other and the spectacular, unpredictable geology of the Earth.

For decades, the Kraffts traveled together from eruption to eruption, getting astonishingly close to some of the world's most volatile landscapes—and filming what they saw. Their remarkable archive forms the heart of this acclaimed documentary: rivers of lava, enormous plumes of ash, otherworldly landscapes and two tiny human figures standing at the edge of it all.
